After thinking about how to decorate the wall above the cane headboard for the last two years, I was finally inspired by a photo layout in Family Circle magazine ....I'm so pleased with the result...here's my version...

| This was another old window from our "burb" house...the shelf is new, but I roughed it up a bit with a sanding block. |

| I love the iron scroll brackets! The spa colored bird is also iron...both of these items were gifts from 2 great friends..:) |

| Small mercury glass votive cups with battery operated votive candles purchased from Pier 1. |

| I think when I return to the beach, I may add some branches to the enamel pitcher for some texture. |

ReplyDeleteI just love this! It's a perfect look for over your bed and you have accessorized the shelf so simply, it's wonderful! I have a window, too, and I am not sure where to put it. I was thinking of over our bed but I am afraid it might fall! lol! Very pretty!
