About Me

My photo
Mariaelena
I am a stay at home mom of 3 daughters, 23, 21 and 11 years of age...I have been happily married for 27 plus years to a FAB man!!! (my very own handyman) We live in the Hudson River Valley. We are fortunate enough to have bought a small beach cottage that we recently rebuilt. I love being an at home mom..(sometimes I feel I was born in the wrong decade). I have an enormous passion for cottage decor and decorating, thrifting, repainting, remodeling and treasure hunting at garage sales. I LOVE the beach and collecting sea glass and sea shells...I LOVE pinecones and branches...there is such beauty in nature...We have spent the last 17 years as do it yourself renovators of our 1963 ranch home. I have been extremely inspired by so many talented women in the blogging world I recently discovered and hope to share some of my passion of home life with you.
