Happy Monday friends!!
I found this table for $10 on Craigs list a couple of months ago...I thought it would be the perfect little side table for my chair and a half. I started working on it last week, but then we were in NYC for a swim meet this weekend....so, I finished it up this morning and I must say, I'm super happy with the way it turned out...take a look and see....
TADA!!!! |
Before: in perfect shape in a dark mahogany!! |
After 1 coat of paint...it took 2: I glazed it this morning to add some dimension... |

This table has great lines to work with when glazing... |
I added this small vignette for some texture: but there is still plenty of room for my tea cup or wine glass !! & look, there's that baby's breath again... |
Have a happy day!!
xo, Mariaelena

ReplyDeleteThe table turned out beautifully. We had a little table like that in our first little rental when we first got married. The tiny house wasn't furnished, but the landlords (an older couple) lived right next door & had tons of extra furniture stored in their garage. After seeing our meager furnishings, they invited us into the garage to pick out some things, & the little table was one of the pieces we liked. Your table brought back fond memories.
