SOMETHING PRETTY!

Hi friends....
A while ago, I blogged about this pedestal that I picked up at a tag sale down the shore.  I painted it and then it ended up in my cabinet...I also picked up some floating candles before Christmas and never used them.  I pulled my pedestal back out, filled a Ball jar with water, floated the candle inside and surrounded the entire jar with dried hydrangeas from my tree!...A little winter pick me up!!
Take a look at my "something pretty"...

Here it is fresh from a tag sale...
I pulled out one of my large,  dried hydrangeas and broke it apart...

It has found a home on the sofa table in our living room...it will be so pretty at night...

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!...please come back & visit again.
xo, Mariaelena

  5. Aren't you creative! The transformation turned out beautiful. Thanks for visiting FlyAwayHome...(I only wish my most used kitchen appliance was a Nutribullet and not an ice cream maker)

  10. "Catching up" or at least trying to seems to be my game plan lately, so I apologize for not having visited in awhile. I love this arrangement. That little pedestal must have just been waiting for this sweet look, because it is perfect! The snow scenes are gorgeous!

You probably heard that we actually had snow here in parts of the Phoenix area a couple of weeks ago. We were all freezing our tooshies off, but now we are back into the upper 70's and lower 80's -- we have some crazy weather here in the AZ desert....lol!
