Happy Wednesday friends!!!
Last week, my good friend asked if I could do something to her old kitchen table....she had recently purchased some beautiful off white glazed chairs from Pottery Barn and was hoping I could get her table to take on a similar look. Here's what we came up with:
here is the finished leg...but it all started with this: |
my friend chose a very light sage green paint... |
BEFORE THE MAKEOVER |
this is after we sanded, primed and painted last week... |
now that the paint had a week to cure, I went back yesterday and added glaze and wax to the table... |
We are both thrilled with the finished product...It looks so good with the PB chairs!!! ahhhh.....the power of paint & friendship xo, Mariaelena linking to: http://linda-coastalcharm.blogspot.com/ http://verymerryvintagestyle.blogspot.com/ http://creatingahouseofgrace.blogspot.com/ http://boogieboardcottage.blogspot.com/ http://athomewithk.blogspot.com/ http://www.fingerprintsonthefridge.com/ http://www.myuncommonsliceofsuburbia.com/ |
It looks fabulous. I love the color she picked out. What a nice friend you are to help her out.

The table looks amazing! Did you use the Annie Sloane paint or another brand? Still haven't decided if I want to paint my old Craig's List table. Hope you are having a very Merry Christmas time!

Love the color. What a great friend!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your kind words and visit to us at Magnolia Lane! I know Christy will come by here soon, but I had to check it out for myself. I can't wait to look around more--I am working on my own kitchen table redo right now too. Have a wonderful holiday and we look forward to seeing more of what you do!
