As I've said before, we have been getting our decorating on (finally) at the beach house this summer...slowly but surely getting there, one wall at a time...Here's a look at our living room wall space.

| I picked this oval frame up at an antiques fair last summer...in keeping with the neutral theme, I decided to staple a piece of jute and tie some starfish to it...I like the simplicity of it. |

ReplyDeleteI love what you did with the starfish and the frame! I hope you don't mind if I pin that to my Pinterest board! I have quite a lot of shells I've collected and am always looking for good "Beach" inspired idea's:)

ReplyDeleteLooove the oval frame and starfish, such a creative use of beach finds! I have to share a tip for beach houses though--I love my beach, but I hate the sand everywhere! These linen towels are a must have. I find that sand clings to my cotton towels and gets EVERYWHERE! Linen actually repels dirt and sand because it's so smooth, but still dries super fast and is very absorbent. I use mine not only as a beach towel, but as a tablecloth when I eat outside so the sand doesn't get in my food.
