Years ago I painted all of my yellowed, orangey pine furniture in our dining room and living room & I've loved it ever since...
I had left the small server piece in its original color not wanting everything to be so matching.
Well here it is years later and it was time for a change!!
I decided not to paint it white like the other pieces but mix up a French linen treatment instead...
Scroll through the process below...
I'd love to hear what you think... xo, Mariaelena linking up to these party people: http://www.dwellings-theheartofyourhome.com http://northernnesting.blogspot.com/2015/11/share-your-style-40.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+NorthernNesting+%28Northern+Nesting%29 |

DeleteWhat an awesome makeover! I especially like the look the white glaze gave your piece!
ReplyDeleteThank you. I started using white glaze a few years ago when I was going for some texture and an aged look without making the piece dark...It's nice to be able to use both as well. I appreciate you coming by and leaving a comment!!
