COUNTRY PINE to FRENCH LINEN...

Years ago I painted all of my yellowed, orangey pine furniture in our dining room and living room & I've loved it ever since...
I had left the small server piece in its original color not wanting everything to be so matching.
Well here it is years later and it was time for a change!!
I decided not to paint it white like the other pieces but mix up a French linen treatment instead...
Scroll through the process below...

After painting with my own French Linen
( a mixture of a deep taupe latex and some white chalk paint),
I mixed up some white glaze and wiped it all over the piece...
I then let it sit for a bit and then went back and worked it in until I achieved the look I wanted.

I'd love to hear what you think...

    1. Thank you. I started using white glaze a few years ago when I was going for some texture and an aged look without making the piece dark...It's nice to be able to use both as well. I appreciate you coming by and leaving a comment!!
